Borders Books. Or any other bookstore that also sells DVDs and CDs. Then a child can choose, but will be choosing from among things which are more mentally stimulating than ordinary toys.

McDonalds, a movie store, Walmart, a movie theater, or get a gift Visa that they can use anywhere.

walmert, target , kmart are all good places because they could get movies, games, toys or clothes with their gift card.

How about a children’s museum, aquarium, or something interesting like that if there is something near by?
Or, things to DO — like one of those rock climbing places, miniature golf, batting cages, that type of thing. Or, something as simple as a movie theater.
Of course, you have to be sure the parents will be able to take them, or volunteer to take them yourselves.
A gift card to a nice bookstore is also great, I think.
Oh, and for a girl — a manicure maybe.

How about Target of Wal Mart. You can give them a gift card for anywhere. Why don’t you try just a Visa gift card that they can use anywhere Visa is accepted.

For 1 free sundae or kmart id reccomend walmart probably sound sort of lame but good idea would be superstore like walmart or others if you get kid this.

Obviously, age makes a big difference. If they are about to enter their “tween” years, then I would go with a Valley National Bank Certificate. This lets them shop anywhere. But let’s say they are seven or eight. Then I would choose a video game store (if they are a boy) and maybe Blockbusters or a book store. Hope this helps.
